Twin brothers miss their flight to Boston, found dead 24 hours later in Georgia mountains

Published

Qaadir and Nazir Lewis’ bodies were found on Bell Mountain. Their family disputes GBI’s initial murder-suicide ruling, insisting the twins wouldn’t hurt each other.

OWNS COUNTY, Ga. — A mystery is unfolding on Bell Mountain in Towns County after the bodies of twin brothers from Lawrenceville were discovered nearly 90 miles from home.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is initially treating the case as a murder-suicide, but the victims’ family is pushing back, saying that explanation doesn’t add up.

Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, both 19, were found shot to death Saturday morning by a hiker at the summit of Bell Mountain, near the North Carolina border.

The discovery came as a shock to their family, who had believed the twins were in Boston visiting friends at the time.

“We want answers, we want to know exactly what happened to the twins,” their aunt, Samira Brawner, said.

The twins were inseparable, according to family members, and had no known history of conflict.

“They’re very protective of each other. They love each other,” their uncle Rahim Brawner said. “They’re like inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”

The family said the brothers had booked a flight to Boston for 7 a.m. last Friday but never made their flight. Just 24 hours later, they were found dead in an area the family said they had never visited before.

The family said the brothers’ plane tickets were found in their wallets on the mountain.

“How did they end up out in the mountains? They don’t hike out there, they’ve never been out there,” Brawner said. “They don’t know anything about Hiawassee, Georgia. They never even heard of Bell Mountain, so how did they end up right there?”

The GBI stated that their preliminary findings suggest a murder-suicide, but the family strongly disputes that conclusion.

“We knew right away that wasn’t true,” Brawner said.

Their aunt, Yasmine Brawner, added, “They had a huge support system. We know them. They wouldn’t do anything like this. To say they did this to each other? No. Something happened in those mountains, and we want answers.”

The GBI confirmed that autopsies have been completed, but the agency is still awaiting additional forensic test results along with additional investigative work before issuing a final ruling on the cause of death.

The family has created an online campaign to help cover the funeral costs for the twins. If you would like to donate, you can do so here.

Parkay had a longstanding friendship with Chicago rap legends Bump J and Goon Squad. From large halls and football stadiums to significant venues, Parkay consistently delivered hip-hop vibes that got people on their feet. His music is characterized by smooth, swagger-filled tracks that compel listeners to move to the beat of his remarkable lyrical talents.

Influenced by legends like Nas, Tupac, Jay-Z, and Biggie, this Chicago emcee began his music career at the age of 15. He quickly discovered that he could write lyrics that reflected wisdom beyond his years and deliver verses that captured the attention of fans both locally and beyond. While his talent for lyricism earned him significant praise, he did not share the enthusiasm for the “rap battles” commonly associated with Chicago emcees. Instead, ButtaBoy focused on his lyrical depth and unique flow, embarking on a journey to tell stories rooted in his life experiences and the realities of the world around him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Handz On Enterprises, Goon Squad, and all family and friends.

Published

By

Art Of Clout obtained shocking surveillance footage of a shootout in the middle of the day on the streets of North Memphis. A child, who appears to be no older than 10 years old, was caught in the middle of the violence.

The disturbing scene played out last Friday on Yale Road between Raleigh and Bartlett. According to investigators, it started with an attempted robbery over a pair of shoes
The Memphis Police Department reports a group of five people including the small child tried to rob a man of his shoes, then tried to fight him when he refused to hand them over. The victim allegedly ran into a convenience store and hid behind the counter.

After the group of suspects stepped back out of the store, a surveillance camera captured a person rolling down the window of a nearby car and opening fire at the group.
The suspects were seen taking cover behind another car to get away from the bullets. Some members of the group then pulled guns of their own and returned fire, chasing the car into the street as it drove away.
The violence, though, was not over yet.
The victim eventually left the store, but did not make it far. While he was walking up the street, the group of suspects allegedly pulled up next to him in a black car and accused him of “snitching” on them.
The victim was spotted on another camera running away, then jumping a fence into a yard where two small children were playing. “Let me in, let me in, let me in please!” the victim is heard begging the children as they run inside.
Some of the suspects were caught on camera running around on the other side of the fence, looking for the victim.
The homeowner told FOX13 she let the victim come inside, then called police after learning what happened.
No injuries were reported. Memphis police ask anyone with information on the suspects to call Crime Stoppers at (901)528-CASH.

Diddy Faces $60M Lawsuit from Former Da Band Member Sara Rivers

Published

on

By

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit from Sara Rivers, a former member of Da Band, who accuses him of sexual harassment and assault. The lawsuit arrives just as the deadline to file claims under New York City’s Gender Motivated Violence Act is about to expire. Rivers, who previously made similar allegations in the documentary The Making of a Bad Boy, is seeking $60 million in damages.

In her complaint, Rivers details several instances of alleged misconduct, including one where Diddy reportedly cornered her in a hallway, allegedly asking her about her well-being in a “low, sensual voice” before adjusting her jacket collar and running his hand across her breasts. Rivers also claims she endured an “inhumane” working environment filled with “aggressive and abusive behavior.”

The lawsuit also names several other defendants, including Universal Music, MTV, Bad Boy employees, and Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, among others.

Diddy’s legal team swiftly responded to the lawsuit, calling the claims “false” and asserting that the lawsuit is part of a pattern of “meritless claims” being filed as the deadline for the Gender-Motivated Violence Act expires. “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,” they said in a statement.

This lawsuit comes amid Diddy’s ongoing criminal case related to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He pled not guilty to the charges following his arrest last year and is currently awaiting trial while residing at a detention center in Brooklyn, New York.

G$ Lil Ronnie, daughter murdered: Police ID suspects in rapper’s shooting

Published

on

By

Forest Hill police said they’ve identified the two people suspected in a double shooting that left a North Texas rapper and his 5-year-old daughter dead.

Capital murder suspects identified

What we know:

The shooting suspects are 24-year-old Adonis Robinson and 21-year-old Jakobe Russell.

Police have issued capital murder warrants for both men, who are from Fort Worth. They are both still on the run.

“They’re scared. They’re cowards. They’re hiding. We ask the public, please, you know where they’re at? Let us know,” said Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez.

Anyone with information about them is asked to call 911.

Anonymous tips are also welcome through Crime Stoppers by calling 713-222-2TIPS.

“I want to reaffirm to the community that we will hold criminals accountable. We’re not going to allow them to come in here and think they can get away with it,” Chief Hernandez said.

Public records show Robinson has a violent criminal history. He was arrested in 2019 and later convicted for the assault of a woman who was walking along a trail near Marine Creek Reservoir.

He’s now a registered sex offender.

What we don’t know:

The police chief said detectives still don’t know the motive for the deadly shooting.

He did not release information on whether the victims and the suspects knew each other, pointing out that the Texas Rangers are the lead agency in the investigation.

“Based on the music industry he’s a part of, it’s all part of the investigation. Like I said earlier, we are in a fact-finding base. Everything that’s been put out is being reviewed and analyzed by the Texas Rangers, Chief Hernandez said.

It’s not clear if Robinson and Russell are hiding out in the DFW metroplex. However, they are the subjects of a nationwide BOLO, or “be on the lookout” alert.

“They are dangerous. They are armed. And we need you to please call 911 and let our police officers respond and take appropriate action,” the chief said.
